President

As club president, I am in charge of leading the club’s activities and managing its overall operations. This includes organizing events, coordinating with other members, and representing the club in official capacities. Additionally, ensure that the club meets its goals and adheres to fostering an environment for student learning and Cyber Security / Technology education.

Saul Casillas

Vice President

As vice president, I ensure smooth operations, and therefore my duties are ever-changing. Currently, I am in charge of guest speaker and club outreach, leading the Security+ study group, and supporting fellow e-board members as needed.

Tommy Phao

Treasurer

As treasurer, my primary objective is to maintain financial operations for FAST, such as memberships and project funding. I also work to further grow the membership experience at FAST, through opportunities such as HTCIA, Conference Access, and Tickets.

Kaleb Lee

Mentorship Chair

I head the FAST mentorship program, which aims to help bridge the gap between academia and industry. By matching students with professionals from cybersecurity and IT fields that most interest them for a series of 4 or more 1-on-1 sessions, this program provides students with an incredible opportunity to take their learning into their own hands!

Hasti Abbasi

Director of Logistics

My role as director of logistics is to ensure that all club meetings and guest speaker interactions run smoothly. I am in charge of generating more involvement for club collaborations (Women in Industry, CSAF, etc.), and promoting all events on LinkedIn.

Mayela Ancheta

Logistics Assistant

I assist the director of logistics throughout the school year in handling a variety of responsibilities. I facilitate club meetings and help contribute to the growth of FAST overall!

Daniel Appel

Assistant Director of Administration

My role as the Assistant Director of Administration is to help out the club with many of the tasks that the President is in charge of. This can include research, implementation, and communication within the club for a variety of changes and responsibilities.

Bella Wong

Director of Marketing

As director of marketing, I design posters/flyers to share on Instagram or via email to advertise the club, meetings and workshops.

Alex Leang

Social Media Manager

I am in charge of managing FAST’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and Discord. I post meeting/event reminders, promo materials, and more.

Ian Rispin

Webmaster

As the webmaster, I am in charge of designing, maintaining, and updating the fast website. This involves updating events, information, and pictures, and adding or changing info as needed throughout the year. I also create the overarching design principles of the website, and make sure new and updated pages stay in line with this design.

Matthew Plascencia

Digital Forensics Research Lead

For my role as the Digital Forensics Research Team’s lead, I develop lesson plans to teach about mobile forensics (Android and iOS) and lead the development of an iOS mobile CTF.

Ari Torczon

Malware Director

As director of the malware branch, I will be leading the group in learning about malware analysis/development, and will also lead development of a C2 server project.
